How to Reach Borghat Temple, Shilliangpusi, East Jaintia Hills, Meghalaya

Borghat Temple is located in Borghat village (Shilliangpusi) in the East Jaintia Hills district of Meghalaya. According to the East Jaintia Hills District Administration, the temple is approximately 49 km from Khliehriat, the district headquarters, and is situated only a few kilometres from Bataw Village.

By Road

Road travel is the most practical way to reach Borghat Temple. Visitors can travel towards Khliehriat and then proceed towards Lad Rymbai, Bataw and Borghat. The Lad Rymbai–Bataw–Borghat road is a commonly cited route for reaching the temple.

    There is no major railway station in Borghat itself. Guwahati Railway Station is the principal railway gateway for travellers coming from other parts of India. From Guwahati, visitors can continue by road towards Shillong, Jowai, Khliehriat and Borghat.
