Bhuteshwar Temple is a Hindu temple in Jind, Haryana, in the series of 48 kos parikrama of Kurukshetra, dedicated to Bhuteshwar, a manifestation of Shiva. It was built by Raghbir Singh. Because it has a large water tank all around it is also called Rani Talab (meaning Queen Pond).
In ancient period the area in which the Jind district lies formed an integral part of Kurukshetra in the traditional geographical account. It derived its name after Jainti, an ancient tirtha mentioned in the Mahabharata and the Padma Purana, founded in honor of Jainti, the goddess of victory.
